F1 Pit Wall · 5 June 2026

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) set the pace in Practice 1 at the Monaco Grand Prix, with a best lap of 1:13.978, 0.226s quicker than Lewis Hamilton. Max Verstappen was third, 0.513s off the top.

Ferrari, Red Bull Racing and Mercedes filled the top of the order, with the top 10 covered by 1.850s and four drivers within a second of the fastest time.

0 of the top 10 set their best laps on the soft tyre; Leclerc (medium), Hamilton (medium), Verstappen (medium), Antonelli (medium) and Russell (medium) did not, which may flatter the drivers ahead of them.

Arvid Lindblad completed the most laps, 34.

Championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli was 4th, 0.559s off the pace.

Practice times don't always tell the full story: teams run different fuel loads and programmes, and the order often changes once qualifying runs begin.
