Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing) set the pace in Practice 1 at the Belgian Grand Prix, with a best lap of 1:47.070, 0.145s quicker than Lewis Hamilton. Charles Leclerc was third, 0.207s off the top.

Red Bull Racing, Ferrari and McLaren filled the top of the order, with the top 10 covered by 1.336s and eight drivers within a second of the fastest time.
